everybody loves the Smith & Wesson M&P

15-22 great little rimfire rifle but

yawn you guys are kind of taking this

thing and you've really improved what

you have given us more but you charge

you less for it

yes Tom we came out this year with the

new 1520 to sport model okay it's just

kind of the next generation of the

highly successful 1522 rimfire rifle we

added a new 10 inch MP handguard

it's slim profile it's more slim feels

good feels really good you can get your

hand around it nicely and it also

features the Magpul M lock standard to

add accessories very easily to the

unlock slots right you put these little

pads

you know texture pads in actually put

anything in there and anything you know

there's forward hand grips also standard

now our Magpul m bus folding front and

rear sights nice so again you have these

you know superior accessory features

right Magpul M bus folding sights a

standard equipment good in addition to

the new slim hang guard core still has

the adjustable stock adjustable sock

that's a Magpul Moe SL version the

slimline so we added the Magpul slimline

stock slimline grip and standard front

and rear and bus sights and grip texture

panels in the up featured model of the

M&P 15-22 good you know and for starting

out a youngster or something I tell you

what that adjustable stock a small

statute person could shoot this there's

no recoil and now that we have twin to

Ambo a little bit more available mm-hmm

you go out just have a whole bunch of

fun with these yeah it's fun to shoot

low recoil and what's really you know

nice feature of the 1522 is that all of

the operating controls are in the same

location as a full-size MFP 15 so I'm a

training and learning of the two

position safety functioning bolt release

functioning charging handle are all in

the same location and function

same way right so it's a great gun to

learn and train with as well exactly

right all right and in P 1520 to sport

more rifle for less money

the great thing about the M&P 15-22 is

that it functions exactly like a regular

ar-15 and i actually like to have people

come to my AR classes who are timid

about a regular AR so they can run it in

a twenty two version they get a lot of

knowledge and a lot of skill the skills

you learn with the 1522 translate

directly to the ar-15 in any platform

this rifle is fun to shoot 25 rounds you

don't have to reload very often you can

learn how to run the sights on an ar-15

really well because there's no recoil

and no noise and it's the exact same

sighting system this thing may only be a

22 but it's just like any ar-15 and it's

got the adjustable stock so anybody can

shoot it
