There are many countries in the world that I dislike for a variety of reasons. Some of these countries have poor human rights records, others are dictatorships, and still others are simply unpleasant places to live. However, there are a few countries that stand out above the rest as the countries I dislike the most.

1. North Korea

I dislike North Korea for its complete and utter lack of freedom. North Koreans are not allowed to leave the country, they are not allowed to speak freely, and they live in constant fear of the government. North Korea is also a dictatorship, which I find abhorrent.

2. Russia

I dislike Russia because it is a country that is constantly in the news for all the wrong reasons. Russia has been involved in a number of scandals in recent years, including meddling in the 2016 US presidential election. Additionally, Russia has a poor human rights record, and is often hostile to its neighbors.

3. Saudi Arabia

I dislike Saudi Arabia because it is an absolute monarchy that does not respect the basic rights of its citizens. Women in Saudi Arabia are not allowed to drive, and are subject to a number of other restrictions. Additionally, Saudi Arabia has a poor human rights record, and is often involved in conflict in the Middle East.

4. Syria

I dislike Syria because it has been embroiled in a brutal civil war for several years. Syria is a country that I once visited and found to be beautiful. However, the conflict has destroyed much of the country, and has resulted in the death of hundreds of thousands of people.

5. United States

I dislike the United States because it is a country that is deeply divided. The US is a country that is racially and politically divided, and this division is only getting worse. Additionally, the US has a number of problems, including gun violence, poverty, and income inequality.
