What is Health Sciences?

health sciences is the study of how people can maintain and improve their health. It covers a wide range of topics, from understanding how the body works to preventing and treating diseases.
UQ’s Faculty of medicine is at the forefront of health sciences research in Australia. Our researchers are working to find new ways to improve the health of people around the world.
We offer a range of health sciences courses that will give you the skills and knowledge you need to make a difference in the health of others. Whether you want to become a doctor, a nurse, a researcher or a health educator, we have a course for you.
