All Star Sports Resort Overview VALUE: 1 of 5 Walt Disney World Value Resort Series

hello everybody and thanks for joining

today we are going to do a quick

overview of Walt Disney World's All-Star

Sports Resort Disney breaks the resorts

into three categories value moderate and

Deluxe this one is one of their five

value sorts it places it in a more

family-friendly affordable price point

you can grab bus transportation here and

there's a different spot for each

destination whether it be Disney Springs

or one of the parks the All-Stars

resorts are located closest to Blizzard

Beach and Animal Kingdom the bus stop

features a very useful eth screen that

shows an incoming time for each of the

next buses listed it's usually pretty

accurate however I have noticed there

are instances where Rick's delayed the

main entrance is where your mirrors

connect or Shuttle is going to drop you

off and conveniently the luggage

Services is right there to greet you the

bell services team is remarkable

there's always plenty of cast members on

hand at the check-in area and I found

that even when it's pretty busy there's

still a surplus of people there to help

you and answer questions

not far away from check-in is the sport

goofy Gibson's sunrise

you'll typically find some of the newer

merchandise and sometimes just some

random surprises

you'll find Resort specific merchandise

though with the All-Stars we noticed

there wasn't anything specific for

sports

combined All-Star Resorts collection

they have a variety of different items

in here from your Lounge fly to shirts

and sweaters mugs and of course plush

items

and I feel like everybody's favorite

plenty of loungewear

if you forgot your magic band or you're

looking to upgrade to Magic Band plus

you'll find a variety of options in your

Resort gift shop

of course everybody loves the annual

merchandise which you will find in

abundance at this time alongside some

retro merch including these vintage

styled

you've got these eye-catching beautiful

display of rainbow pops

chips snacks Beverages and More

we always pack plenty of ibuprofen but

just in case they've got all the

essentials conveniently right here adult

beverages you can bring back to your

room

and of course the theming is abundant

and everywhere

be sure to check out the Recreations

Activity Board so that you can see

everything going on during your stay

many famous athletes are showcased all

along the Halls

pressed pennies and 50th Anniversary

collectible medallions are located just

outside the game point arcade

All-Stars sports certainly has one of

the larger arcades my kids would love it

I hate spending time in an arcade

especially when we're on Disney property

across the way you will find the end

zone food court and there are plenty of

options in this spot that's one of the

greatest Parts about the All-Star food

courts is the variety

plenty to pick from

for the kids for the adults and for the

picky eaters

there's desserts the grab and go options

various Bakery items and of course they

serve breakfast lunch and dinner

there's plenty of condiments to choose

from and the pizza pickup window

you are sure to find your Resort

souvenir mug so grab it while you can

and be sure to check out the beverage

refill section to fill for your coffee

and soda and water needs

there's plenty of seating options in all

of the All-Star Resorts which I love

it's been pretty busy when I've come

here before and there's usually the

place to sit it's great another super

cool feature of this All-Star Resort is

that their grandstand Spirits is

accessible from not only the inside but

the outside as well so you can grab a

drink on your way to the pool or unless

you're getting one of your meals

All-Star Sports is home to two pools the

main pool is going to be your surfboard

Bay pool this features three-story

surfboards that the kids get a kick out

of you're gonna have movie Under the

Stars and these are located at the

surfboard pool at 8 pm nightly pool

hours are going to be 10 to 10. well

this is subject to change

you will find guest laundry available in

the Surf's Up bath house which is super

convenient for families with small kids

who have emergencies

buildings one and six are the Surf's Up

section I love the giant board games

that you'll see some of the Disney

properties and so do the kids here

you'll find Mickey to greet you among

the various Flags unlike some of the

larger Deluxe Resorts and even the

moderate resorts the All-Stars are set

up so that you have to walk down and

back versus kind of bigger Loops that

bring you full circle

so keep this in mind when you're

requesting a room in a certain area next

we have the Hoops hotel which is

buildings two and three and it features

a ton of basketballs hoops and those

massive whistles

the different Resorts and their

wish my family of five could fit in a

small Studio but we don't these studios

here sleep four All-Star Sports do not

have family suites

just a short walk away is buildings four

and five Center Court which is as you

can see tennis themed and you've got

cranky Donald over in the corner

think we all know by now that Donald is

a sore loser

small playground for children to enjoy

located just by the touchdown Hotel area

and you'll find the campfire site here

as well this is located between building

seven and intermission food court and

you'll have campfires from 5 30 to 7 7

days a week you had to know it was

coming since I just mentioned it we were

in the touchdown section Building 7 and

10.

these huge helmets are the main feature

of course

certainly eye-catching but what I happen

to love is the massive field that is

laid out for the kids to run all over

a little further on you have buildings

eight and nine in the Home Run Hotel

area

this is baseball themed and you've got

Coke

screaming at you from the corner I

personally think this might be my

favorite I really do love the scoreboard

section it's also home to the second

pool on property the Grand Slam pool

which is shaped like a baseball diamond

and has three story baseball bats and of

course Goofy

that is the last section of the building

and brings us to a wrap on our All-Star
