Recipe for Coloured Torches Minecraft Education Edition

hey everyone i'm nathan richards today

we're going to go through how you can do

colored torches in minecraft education

edition

all right so for this one we're going to

have a look at these colored torches

don't forget though if you like what we

bring out new content so there are four

colored torches that you can add in

minecraft education edition they are

blue red purple and green are your

four options that you can have so you

will need a couple of things to start

you will need a compound creator and

you'll also need this one the crafting

table now if you're not sure how to get

those

we're just going to go e on our keyboard

then you can just kind of type it in so

so craft and then there's your crafting

table so i can pick that up and pull it

down

and then compound

so we just start typing it there it is

oh no that one

and we can bring that one down as well

we're gonna have to come back to this

inventory so we are in creative mode

we're going to need that to make certain

things happen it's just a lot easier but

let's have a look first we do have to

start here with the compound creator

we're going to right click to open it

now essentially we just need to make

these chemical compounds to make the

torches turn the color that we want them

to so let's start with blue so for blue

we need to make something called serum

chloride so it does have a particular

recipe that it needs for that to happen

so we're going to click out of here

and we're going to go back to our

inventory by pressing e

and if we start searching for it so here

it is sirium and we're going to take

that pop it in our hot bar

and we also need um chloride now we'll

need chloride here this one or chlorine

sorry i should say we need chlorine for

all of these so we'll grab that as well

and you know what while we're here i can

already see it there

there it is there our torch if you're

not sure you can just start writing

torch to find it

we're going to need that torch so let's

pull that in because it

so to make the blue one is essentially

what we need we need these recipes to

happen so

i need one part of cerium and i need

three parts of chlorine and you'll

notice that when i get that right so

for one it would just won't show a

number at all but it'll show three here

so to do that i just right clicked and

that will just place one at a time it

won't place all 64. and then here it is

here is my esterium chloride so i'm

going to pull that out

and put it into my hotbar and then i'm

going to close this down and i'm going

to come over here to my crafting table

all right so to make this torch what we

need to do is we're going to right click

here on the crafting table

and i come down and grab my torch first

let's put our torch in the middle so

right click just to drop one torch i

don't want to drop at the moment 64 of

them and we're going to come back down

and place our torches in our hot bar

and then we've got our cerium chloride

here so i'm going to pick that up as

well i'm going to put it above the torch

okay it needs to go here up above it so

then i right click and then we come back

and put it down and there is my blue

torch so i can pick that up and i can

put it in my hot bar

come back out here and if we

there we go it's already down so my blue

one done we might even like do a little

spectrum

there's our traditional one

so for our next one we're going to make

the red torch so we're going to need

mercury for this to happen so we click

on e open our inventory let's grab out

mercury

so

here it is here mercury is the hg

so we're going to bring that down i

actually don't need this one anymore so

i'm just going to replace it

and then i'm going to exit out so then

i'm going to open up my compound creator

and then i'm going to go

one of mercury

and then i'm going to go one two

of the chlorine and that will give me my

mixture so we're gonna pull that one

down and i'm just gonna i'm gonna pull

this and put it up here just so i don't

get confused now so let's put that guy

there

and we're going to come back to our

crafting table and just like before so

we put the torch in the middle i'm going

to grab

this place one down let's put it in

there because we don't need it anymore

i'm going to grab my red torch there it

is and let's turn around

and put our red torch down

looking good

all right two more to go so purple if we

want to do a purple torch we are going

to need to come back here and we're

going to have to get potassium

so i'm going

there it is there so our k

let's replace that from our mercury we

don't need that anymore

and we're going to click back here

and then open up the compound creator so

for potassium we just need one potassium

and we just need one of the chlorine and

that will give us our mixture our

potassium chloride

so let's put that down into our hot bar

i'm actually going to put it over here

you can go in there

and then i'm going to come over to my

crafting table again

let's put our normal torch in just like

before and up the top of it put in our

new mixture there it is purple this

one's my favorite actually so let's pop

that in our hot bar

add it to our row

purple done and let's do the very last

one so it's going to be our green one so

let's go e

and we're actually looking for something

called

tungsten so let's grab that pop it in

so we click to open up our compound

creator and so for this one you need one

of the tungsten and then you need one

two three four five six

of the chlorine and you actually get

this kind of bluish looking

concoction here so we're going to grab

that let's move that out

and i'm going to come over here open up

my crafting table just like before put

in our torch

pop it one above it

and there is our green torch check it

out so we're going to come over

we're going to place that torch down

there it is and then technically you

know i don't want to miss it out here

because we do still have one of our new

torches that's come about

uh let's place that one there

it's our soul torch as well so

it's kind of bluish more of a light blue

so there they are they are your

basically your what have we got one two

three four five six different colored

torches that you can use in minecraft

education edition
