it's one of those places where you come

to you arrive and then you just can't

leave because so beautiful I think

you'll find it's this bitterly friendly

place to be and I take great pride in

that so I wanted to go to uni which

really which I felt like I could really

get the supports I needed and where the

only thing that limits me is how much

effort I put in and yeah so on the open

day I was convinced that here is the

right place for me and yeah I'm not

regretting it open days tend to give you

a feel for the university to actually

like so I went to a couple of open days

before I chose my degree and some some

institutions your places that I thought

we're gonna be my first choice then fell

down the ladder when I went and actually

spoke to people and saw what they do

that's the reason I came to banger when

I got everyone was so friendly and

accommodating that it just had to become

my first choice if you ask falsely the

Society's loads to do a bit collectors

they're all very supportive and if you

do need something if you've got

questions they do get back to you and

they do help you whenever you need it

I'm studying sports science areas mainly

because I wanted to do a research

project at the end of it majority of

courses do things like a dissertation

but sports science allows you to

actually get involved and do your own

testing and different bits and pieces in

that kind of area and also gives us

access to doing different sports

coaching courses and improve our chances

getting a good job at the end of it

doing the outdoor activities course it's

my undergraduate degree you get taken

out and Snowdonia every week you get to

go kayaking you get to try out sort of

ice climbing and all sorts of things

that you just don't get from any other

science degrees but I know we're very

very keen here at vanga that the people

who do the teaching in in our school are

our research leaders so they're the ones

actually doing the good research and the

frontline

three years seems like a very long time

when you start but it's I know it's

cliche but it's really clone wrong by

the whole department all members in the

department they were lovely

it's a family actually not just school

departments
