so the first update is anastasi Beverly

Hills this is going to lead onto new

news because it flows mmm

so last week the day after we filmed we

saw the reveal of the novena volume 2

palette now a lot of people were like

what are you doing anastacio Beverly

Hills you're doing a color pop you're

releasing something new all the time

because it's only one month it's

releasing on the 26th of September

that's one month since the novena Volume

one came out so we've seen it and I did

put a little video on the screen but we

can discuss it it's in more of an aqua

packaging and it's more blue toned I

guess so it's more yeah it's got yellows

it's got blues it's got greens got a pop

of pink so pops of brown whereas the

first palette was primarily sort of

purple a couple of Blues and like

oranges and yellows so this is a lot

more sort of I don't know I call it like

cartoony yeah I think that's like you

can imagine having cartoons and coloring

it with these colors so there's that

that's coming out but the cheeky [ __ ]

this morning we woke up to the news that

the novena volume of three is releasing

on the same day

I am shocked and appalled not a look I'm

I'm shocked and appalled I'm was shocked

I'm yeah it's very surprised yeah this

is more of a full inspired one so the

color story is more sort of plumbing

purples there's some greens in there

some oranges yellow brown so this is

still colorful but just a different tone

and they are saying that this is the

sort of full palette

I don't understand why they're releasing

on the same day there's 60 US dollars

each so within a month if you wanted

them all you're paying 180 US dollars

for all three or if you live in

Australia these are up to a hundred and

twenty dollars my god I think the only

reason why it's sort of it's not

acceptable but it's okay that colour-pop

does it is because their pallets of $12

yeah they're affordable you're

affordable these are not affordable

crying if you buy the pallet and then go

I actually don't like the color story or

I'm not a huge fan of the formula it's

12 bucks it's 12 bucks whereas this is

60 it's okay you get a lot of product in

it yeah it's better value for money than

the normal and the Stasi Beverly Hills

pellets but this is just excessive it's

very much they did say that the third is

the last one please the yrj ain't day

let it be the last on I'm really

surprised at this I'm not surprised at

this look I'm surprised that they

released this or the first novena so

quickly after the jackie ina i

collaboration and that was a lot of

feedback they got shine like celebrate

that let her have her moment with that

palette and be proud of it like the

palette sold anyway but give it some

time I know and I think also

historically looking at anastasi Beverly

Hills releases they release every season

so every three months they release

something new and that's when they bring

out a bit of a collection and they

usually bring out a few things at once

and that's a nice pacing

it's enough that if you really like all

their products you can sort of save up

and slowly like buy them over three

months hmm also one thing about sort of

investment pallets and not investments

but sort of the pallets that cost a

little bit more money that you need to

like justify buying you might want to

watch reviews you might want to see it

in store you might want to take your

time you might want to wait till you've

paid off your last credit card payment

and you want you know whatever it might

be sometimes it takes a couple of months

to go all right I'm ready to buy yes and

now as your four pallets in the hole in

month one month so the Jackie I know one

came out they really didn't give it

enough time to really like I don't think

build momentum and give it the the space

to breathe they literally announced I

think a week later the novena one and

now they're releasing to novena ones

people that have gone okay

I'm it's this is a bit of an investment

I've seen a lot of people that like get

it as birthday presents or gifts and

they're like oh this is such a great

gift and if you bought believe me one in

your collector

you're gonna have to drop a lot more

money on volume two and three which i

think is really cheeky of them I think

Sarto something else that I think is

cheeky

I'm just looking at so these pellets

have been rearranged yes sorry in our

Facebook group people have found that

these pellets in particular a little bit

analysis paralysis because it's so

jumbled you know there is like a trend

that a lot of people and Instagram and

stuff and now rearranging the pallets

and isolation yeah I appreciate it

because I'm noticing some pretty

ridiculous double ups across these

pallets yes obviously you don't have to

buy all of these pallets not like that's

not what is volume three you feel like I

can't do it I can't do it either

there's gonna be people watching this

set alike yes I feel you that is me as

well whenever something is like within a

series yeah I'm like gonna catch them

all oh oh get nothing none no oh I'm a

completionist and I'm a completionist

everywhere video games like if games

have cost easements calls minis like I

go to lengths

yes she does I just I love completing

things it brings me great joy and I'm

seeing so many double ups

yeah line also why does one and two both

have a black completely unnecessary yeah

lately [ __ ] unnecessary yeah that I

agree like to be fair I put these in

this folder so we can discuss them

because I think that out of the three

pallets the volume three seems to be the

best sort of distributed again I really

dependent doesn't matter about the

colors in it I like to see it even

spread of

yeah the fact that the first one was

like 10 purples and then you know brown

and black oh yeah yellows and then yeah

and then red yeah I just feel like it

becomes it's it's too much I don't need

that many of the same sort of shade in

one palette so and then the second

palette was majority greens and blues

there's literally ten blues five greens

and then you've got some basic Browns

and a pop of pink and yellow so I just

look at this and I go I don't need like

three of those blues look almost

identical so for me I'm like looking at

it this way it's just overwhelming

whereas when you go over to volume three

okay there is you know potentially

plastic surgeries yeah you know a bunch

of Browns but the the spread is a little

bit more even and I just find that a

little bit more aesthetically pleasing

and a little bit easier to digest you

look at two and three some of those

greens are the same very very soon that

role of the five greens is almost that

corner of greens and the yellows are the

same layer okay they're probably got

some differences but I hate to break it

to you people can't tell especially when

it's on the eye hell no one's getting

close enough to go let me go that's the

slightly more chartreuse yellow versus

the other yellow yellow I'm different

she should have brought out one and

making a rainbow palette if that she's

really wanting I just make a rainbow

palette I don't get it I don't get it

yourself

yeah yourself words of Angie edit your

self this is too much it's too much it

is too much but along with this and

we're probably going to see more because

like I said they release quite a few

things on each release date on the 26th

of September where these two are

launching for $60 each we're also seeing

loose glitters so they said that this

was actually supposed to come out for

festival season but if it was next year

or the one this year I don't know if

it's delayed or release early yeah but

they're just a bunch of loose glitters

so they've got festival sort of themed

names even though it's not currently

festival season in the US so there's ten

loose glitters and it's weird nine of

them will be

at Sephora mm-hmm and four will be in

store so carnival flower child dimension

and rally will all be in store the 15 US

dollars each but ten shades on the

Anastasia Beverly Hills websites so yeah

I think this is the one thing I do like

about these glitters is there's like

some color shifty action going and

depending they all look really do

carnivals I love and yeah of carnival so

there are some nice colors what's just

adding to their previous loose glitter

color yeah dose of colors so the meet

your hue concealer has launched so this

is going to be available in 30 shades

with six categories so fair light

light/medium medium tan dark and deep

and each category has five shades in it

it's meant to be easy to blend a full

coverage with a matte finish lightweight

long wear vegan and cruelty free so this

is going to be it's on line when you're

watching this but also available at the

Americana at brand pop-up shop pop-up

shop in Glendale college at Sonic wente

first and the 22nd of September but by

the time you're watching this I'm so

sorry it's done it's passed and you get

it online yet so if you want it check it

it's retailing for 42 note for 42 US

dollars no that's expensive around 24 us

much better yeah all right we've seen

the insides to the new Kat Von D Lolita

por Vida palette so this was we saw the

outside of it we just saw the por Vida

and it caused a bit of discussion about

if that's grammatically correct

I think Lolita por Vida does make sense

I hope everyone agrees but it look I

don't know I'm Australian it is what it

is but we've seen what it looks like

we've got details launch details price

details so it's 18 shades inspired by

the cult favourite shade Lolita very

similar to the first Lolita palette that

was all mattes this does have shimmer

and matte it's 49

50 US dollars and it's starting to

launch from the 11th of October online

so that's online at Kat Von D beauty so

for us for Canada debenhams and then it

sort of just rolls out through there all

the way through November which is where

it went

launches in Brazil which is actually not

bad wasn't another thing like in the

next year you area yeah yes so there's

that but we've seen what's inside so

this is a different layout to the

original lolita palette but the similar

color story the top row is quite cool

tired to me so those shimmers and Matt's

like movie colors taupey colors but a

purple then a warmer row with like

oranges there's like three shades that

are sort of highlighted with like a

filigree sort of design I don't know if

the pans are bigger if it's an optical

illusion because there's a there's a

thing on the outside yeah so I think it

might be the same size yeah people are

wondering why there's larger pans but I

feel like it might just be the designer

rounder that makes it look larger I can

see why people lose yeah yeah it does

look a lot larger yeah so there's three

that are highlighted they look more

foiled and there's like an orangey gold

a taupe and I guess like a champagne

silvery color then the bottom row is

more sort of neutrals with some ready

tones now this is interesting because if

you look at swatches it looks like

hooter Beauty does it does it does a bit

doesn't it I'm getting those vibes

you've got the warm you got a couple of

duo Chrome's yeah some glittery shades

and we have all some red I think this is

watched it actually looks quite

appealing I actually really like this

Yash's yeah I like this look sister

Hallett unlike bland basic I've got it

don't need to buy it but I see the

swatches and I'm like what yeah the

sparkles like that Brown is Berkeley

shade I am EGH it has a lot more depth

and sort of character to it once again

it's marketing swatches so yeah it's

probably not 100 percent accurate I'm

just bummed because this is probably one

of the few things I've seen from Kat Von

D Beauty that I'm actually semi

interested in yeah I don't like to give

her my money so I'm not

by it but also I'm not crash hot on it

by shadow formula no I actually really

yeah I think that's favor hot yeah I

agree it's so I'm gonna pass on this but

I can understand like if people are yeah

if people are interested in it like I

see I see the appeal there I think a lot

more interesting than the original

Lolita which is like just a gray da ting

like light to dark sort of Rosie yeah

hope colors yeah in maps like that

doesn't interest me at all give me

different textures and different

finishes and you know luscious things

I'm all for errand that takes a few

boxes for me except for the Kat Von D

part so we have seen new products to the

Mallee Beauty RuPaul collaboration yet

collection now they launched the face

defender yes 16 years ago well it was

that um I think you said wasn't it was

at a exhibition today yeah wow I don't

he wasn't drag Khan no but it was

earlier this year yes I think was almost

like May June I think they released that

and I thought that was gonna be it I

thought that was gonna be you and we're

like wow yeah so it's pretty much what

they did was they took a popular product

to that supposedly RuPaul liked and they

just made it gold packaging and had yeah

RuPaul's written on it but clearly that

was just the sort of starting point to a

bigger collection tip of the iceberg

yeah so we have the RuPaul eyeshadow

palette this is $40 the limited-edition

face defender which has already been out

with that limited edition packaging 37

dollars then there's an eyeliner trio

this is $29 it contains a matte black a

black burgundy and a deep red oh my god

the drag lash mascara is $29 the

highlighter and Rouge duo is $33 there's

a lipstick for your life trio $33 it

contains three shades as a soft pink

nude true bright red and a vibrant move

then we have the polished liquid

lipstick and discotheque

lip topper 3-piece kit there's two color

variations for these they're $32 each

one of them is drag mother liquid

lipstick which is a deep blue toned red

with the Showgirl liquid lipstick which

is caramel nude and the congratulations

glossy lip topper we condragulations

condragulations I totally missed it

enough [ __ ] it right Beauty new style

that's right tie professional drag you

lations glossy lip top art this is a

coral shade then set to has now prance

liquid lipstick which is peony colored

red orange a shade shady liquid lipstick

which is a purple leaning bow and a

lippy glossy lip which is a sheer pink

iridescent shimmer is all available now

at QVC yeah and what's sort of confusing

about the images will have on the screen

is you see the four liquid lipsticks

together yet the first two so the coral

and then the move or the topi sort of

color the gray is one set the dark red

and the nude is another set and they've

got the lip glosses that go with it in

another photo sorry they don't actually

show the trio's together which is a bit

annoying I think this is look this is

very safe yeah this is very wearable

yeah the eyeshadow palette particularly

there's a lot of Browns in there which

I'm not opposed to these days but look

if you do look at RuPaul's Drag makeup

it is toned down colors but a lot of it

so it's drag makeup but like soft colors

so that it does make a lot of sense for

RuPaul I think I've never tried Mele

beauty the package sort of gives me like

$2 shop vibes so I am really reluctant I

don't even know if we can get Mele

Beauty in Australia but I don't think

this doesn't inspire me to throw my

money at it yeah but there are some very

wearable products in yeah very

interested yeah I think like if you're a

fan of RuPaul there's gonna be something

there for everyone people who don't want

to wear crazy makeup and people who were

totally okay

with wearing crazy makeup but you can

get something that's like an everyday

product yeah a beautiful blush and

highlight or lipsticks or eyeliners like

I think it's an easy collection to

stomach yeah it's just not a bad do you

think that these cheek palette is too

light for someone of rupaul's coloring I

would aside sorry like it's a strange

like they've just gone look I'm sure

there's been a lot more thought in get

into it than I am

implying but it sort of feels like

they're like these are the safe colors

these will sell put your name on it but

it's yeah it's not that inspiring to me

and I know I'm a big fan of RuPaul yeah

but I I think we're appalled like I

still find this I know that he uses the

face defender and supposedly he's like

friends with the founder of Mele Beauty

so I understand it from that perspective

but RuPaul could collaborate with any

brand yeah and I want to see him

collaborate with Nas Marc Jacobs and

create some bomb-ass collection oz would

be a fantastic cuz he could do crazy

things with packaged easy packaging oz

really good quality yeah bold colors

wearable colors yeah cool finishes like

I really I think if this is a missed

opportunity because the name RuPaul and

it's like RuPaul's Drag Race just won an

Emmy yeah it's like they're at a perfect

opportunity to really go something

collectible so I think if I bought at

this awesome nas palette with like

RuPaul like packaging that was really

luxe yeah you can keep it as a clip

desired of even if you use it up you can

keep the compact kind of thing yeah so I

would have loved to have seen that and

if it was that I would buy so much from

the collection malee beauty that looks

like it's it's model Co in Australia

yeah I know and hope my luck - you know

we don't have access to Mele Beauty so

we don't know what the quality is like

maybe it's completely like it's amazing

stuff we don't know but I haven't heard

anyone rave about it the yeah like it

malee beauty is not a global brand it's

not widely known widely loved maybe

loved by the people who know it and try

to have tried it but it's a strange

pairing it's a little bit uninspired I

agree

all right just when we thought we had

wrapped up the two-faced holiday

collections and nice little bow and said

see you later until our holiday videos

we were wrong

yes sound effects did that worked

hopefully that way so we were definitely

wrong they have added new releases

through their website now it's weird

because they're sort of staggering it oh

it's frustrating but on the two-faced

website they have some things I believe

available and something that's coming

soon I don't know if these are coming to

Sephora they might be the altar packs

maybe yeah they seem to be doing it in

weird way yes I don't I can't understand

I don't know Jared personally never

spoken to him no talk to us Jared give

soon so the new things that we've seen

is the berry Christmas to you park it's

wondering where these were and they're

pellets in one sort of pack so each set

contains four eyeshadows and one ombre

blush and they smell different different

Christmas treats so they've done this

time and time again I think I've got two

packs yeah on display that do the same

thing and they've done it for years

and yet they all smell different

depending on what it's called so there's

one called totally bananas

I hate artificial banana scent it

actually leaves me what a vomit

we've got sugarplum cookie and they've

got very Merry Christmas

yes so those would be the cents then we

have the Christmas star face an eye

palette this is 44 US dollars it

contains 20 eyeshadows five face powders

in a fold-out star design there's one

exclusive lipgloss in ginger snap and a

travel size better than sex mascara so

this park is kind of cute it's big and

bulky it looks like kids makeup like the

lip gloss though I like the lip gloss

and look at the drops I know damn it I

want that one thing I was looking at the

swatches of the palette not don't yeah I

do like the colors but I'll never use it

if I have to like you have a star and

like actually fold out five the shoe is

it's not gonna happen I'm too [ __ ]

lazy for ya I struggle opening sometimes

one flap yeah so yeah it's not gonna

happen there and then we also have this

is now available on to face the other

three are coming soon this is the

another year of great six it's seventy

five US dollars they've done this before

but this is a slightly different one

past years do they have for better than

sex mascara yeah because theoretically

you use a mascara for three months yeah

this one you do get for better than sex

mascara but also to full size better

than sex eyeliners two eyeliners four

mascaras if you really like their

formula this will keep you going for a

full year if you are into this idea

I don't mind it as well like Urban Decay

do this with their setting spray if

you're an avid user of this product it's

a good way to buy it because you've got

it there handy if you are very good with

actually throwing things out when it

expires yeah throw a good thing I'm not

one of those people this would last me

two years it is what it is don't tell me

what to do you're a big fan of that

mascara that vault is a practical one we

have some products from awake skin now

you'd be forgiven if you don't remember

we forgot about it who awake skin is

everyone forgot about it yeah it's it

starts sister skincare brand yeah I

think it might get a little bit

confusing because

does really skincare under top that's

true and they all know really skincare

under sugar and she's a brand that came

their sister brand that came out are

just around yeah so awake sort of was

released and we talked about probably

six months ago yeah and we sort of

forgot about it

sugar rush was more in-your-face yeah

but awake has released some new products

but I will say some of these actually

sound kind of cool yeah so first we've

got the glow smoothie jelly cleanser is

twenty two US dollars and they have it

travel sized for $14 so if you want to

try it without committing to it you can

they also have a sweet hydration

moisturizer $30 again travel sized for

14 and the sleep retreat overnight oil

gel $29 personal size 12 yeah so the

jelly cleanser in the overnight oil gel

sound and the potentially the cleanser

is what citrusy yeah I think so

it's got the citrus in the background

it's not loading so I can't zoom in it

just says glory smoothie jelly cleanser

yeah man little bit fruity looks like

saris on it

I know I think it might be oranges or

something or anyway it looks very fruity

which I like the sweet hydration

moisturizer looks very berry well love

fruits into things I'm all for it I

don't mind it then we have the face

flexin OPA light facial roller 25 US

dollars at least they're not saying it's

real opal and mind you update to that I

did pin a comment but I would like

people didn't say if you don't know what

we're talking about when for three very

beauty tried to release a real opal

faith roller yes

and then they backtracked and they're

like it's over light which is fancy

glass oops see will fight you yeah I do

that was actually fun to be fair I was

like is anyone else picking up on the

plan this is not horrible I look like a

grandma gets out yeah unacceptable

yeah I went to the Instagram account and

I had a look and people were like

slaying them for it and they win and

they change the discussion that's

changed on the website as I keep them

honest yes then we have the moisture

bomb daytime lip mask 15 US dollars and

the rise and repeat i cream 32 US

dollars

there's a travel-size available for $15

which is great because I'd never use a

full eye cream no then we have some

packs so there's spar while you sleep

skincare set it's 32 US dollars contains

a travel size of the jelly cleanser a

deluxe pour down tightening concentrate

and a deluxe sleep retreat overnight gel

oil with a deluxe lip therapy lip mask

oh I like the idea that I love like

night lip masks but well we might need

to make an order to try that I also

really want that palette I know a little

and she wants yeah I'm waiting for a

sale yeah we'll get you we'll get it for

you eventually

US dollars and it contains sleep is my

beauty secret vegan pillowcase it's

weird

vegan pillowcase maybe because it's not

made out of wool but you know that's

it's all fair isn't it generally unless

it's a vegan silk like a fake silk yeah

like a yeah but they need to specify

that because I like the idea of silk

pillowcases it's supposed to be good for

your skin and yeah but a normal

pillowcase I don't get [ __ ] I go buy

them a shame art for like oh yeah

Deluxe dream mist pillow spray there's

also a deluxe lip therapy lip mask and a

deluxe sleep retreat overnight gel oil

spa boy I want to try it out

oh great they sound like lovely products

I feel like everything in there is the

type of thing that I would want to use

yeah the gel oil and the jelly cleanser

really tweaked my interest I agree all

right we've got round two for the beauty

bag staying Oh remember the Mitchell

aberration do we have a chi oh yeah we

do it's uh it's this one

I don't how long's that guy thought it

goes and going okay we can stop okay so

the mum of a Mitchell collaboration came

out last month it was a bit pallet

well-received

yeah I liked the color story I think you

did a good job they did a good job I've

heard good things about the quality of

the beautybay sort of pellets have

looked a few times there's been sales

done like all but the one I want

Oh a sold out yeah but it's on my wish

list but they've brought out eyeliner

Stoppers so me myself and Mitchell

eyeliner Stoppers eight pounds there's

three shades mirror mama and middle

sorry one is iridescent with blue flecks

another one is iridescent with pink

flecks and there's a gold flecks one so

or you can get the set for 20 pounds

this is a relaunched on beautybay and

essentially these like they call them

eyeliner Stoppers but I get the vibe

that they're more like stealing

Magnificent metals so hmm

yeah they look pretty don't they they do

don't H oh yeah so this video looks like

there's some that have just put on the

arm and then some that have put over

black yeah so yeah I have done low ones

gorgeous beautiful isn't it

I even like the gold one yeah so there

we go

they're pretty there these are the kind

of things though that you either need to

see awesome swatches to make you buy or

you want to see them in person

yes and I think it's a little bit

frustrating I see them I go oh that's

very pretty but I would have put it on

my hand I want to rub it flakes off onto

my G yeah I want to see if it's streaky

and it's gonna be like you've got to

allow at least five minutes for

application rather than just put it on

yeah but I really like the idea of these

because like JT Gloria has brought out

those sparkly liner and the multi chrome

liners from the metallic liners and I

think they work best when you put just

like a black gel yeah and then use it as

a top up because the black base really

like electrifies and really hope helps

to hold to the eyes yeah so that that's

what these sort of are they're sparkly

sort of not sparkly they like iridescent

eyeliners and you can top them

over eyeliners yeah which is kind of

interesting a little bit different all

right BH Cosmetics has collaborated with

a german youtuber I think it's need this

Alicia Marie or Alicia I think it's

Alesia Marie this is a 14 pan palette

called 1991 right yeah mm-hmm good on

you it's got seven iridescent Jura

chrome shades and seven matching mattes

I love that this is launching 25th so

it's already available it's on BH

I love half shimmers half mattes that is

my perfect split and they're all in I

work and I don't I don't budge on that

well this is this the layout I am

immediately enticed I think this is okay

so the color story may not be the

perfect palette for everyone no but I

think the way that this palette is laid

out 14 shades yeah half matte half

shimmer these are Jerome's which make

them even more fun in my opinion yeah

it's got a mirror the palette is not

bulky or excessively large or doing

anything weird in terms of layout and

structure I think this is what a perfect

palette looks like - yeah yeah - the

exact colors absolutely yeah layout is

perfect I also think that this looks so

much more higher end than BH Cosmetics -

cuz usually bulky and there's random

squares and washes and highlighters and

random [ __ ] this looks very sleek and

very well done yeah Alysia Marie person

you know what it is yet control of these

yes it was like you're gonna do this

we're gonna do it right yeah I don't

normally something that's [ __ ] yeah

I really respect her yeah and I I want

this I love the bottom row of mats as

well you know beautiful not only do they

look really nice swatched but I also

find that sometimes pellets have really

redundant shades whereas here you can

see the clear distinction okay there are

the same color stories as warm ones and

there's more Marie V rosy ones yeah

all have a purpose which is really nice

the top like the duo Chrome's can add as

stoppers I do think it's a little purple

heavy for me personally I would love to

seen maybe a burnt orange shimmer in

there or something to a little bit

warmer because the top row seems quite

cool the bottom row has a lot of warmth

to it so you sort of want something to

balance that but I think this is a

really beautiful capsule palette I

really like well done I think she's done

fantastic and I feel like this is the

maximum shades you should have into

palette and if you've got more than this

if you're doing a morphia or a novena

volume one two or three

it's you need to edit it down to this

size yeah this should be the maximum

yeah I really like this by Terry we've

got two new quad palettes so these are

59 euros each and they're available now

at the bio Terry website so the first

one is the sultry full palette

it contains a smoldering burnt red a

copper a brown and a golden brown yeah

are they all know I think the brown

radiance palette so they're calling this

you use way more bronzer than you do

blush yeah and highlighter yeah this is

the proportion of how you use it on your

face yeah and how you're gonna use it up

drives me bananas you can tell she

actually uses makeup

exactly and this is what I really really

commend with this so there's so many

times I've also seen pellets that have

like five blushes in one bronzer but you

can use up three bronzers in a year if

you want a fanatic yeah and you might

use up one blush every three years so

why have five blushes to one bronzer I

[ __ ] say it louder for the people in

the back if you're a project panel and

you actually try to use up makeup you'll

know yeah

blushes take you a year to two years

sometimes longer

whereas bronzers you can get through in

a season yeah easy

I think I finished I know I finished at

least two brothers yes yeah and I've

been almost finished my third I finished

um nearly sort of hit pan on my second

bronzer yeah which are pretty

substantial bronzers yeah blush no don't

even hit the sides so this is a great

proportion I think that's fantastic I do

like the color she's put in as well a

lot of people saying it's very very

bland that is totally fair but it's also

very very wearable you are these gaps to

be were yeah you've got a contour powder

that's lighter so you can use right

there in winter or you can use it to

sort of bronze a little bit or blend out

your contour you have a deeper one if

you want to do more like specific

contouring and deeper contouring you've

got a shimmery sort of peachy color

blush these are my favorite blushes

you've got a matte pink you've got two

highlighters one is a cool toned almost

like what looks like a lavender kind of

color yeah and one is like a light gold

this is all year-round products I in

great proportion I think she's done a

great job

packaging is creepy as [ __ ] I hate

is creepiest fari I'm sorry it looks

like she's a corpse and this is like her

face mask thing that they here's a death

mask yeah this is a death mask google it

it's weird

unless you don't like morbid stuff then

don't go boy don't doodle it don't do

that don't do daliyah so I think it fits

meant to soften brighten minimize pause

it's a primer that feels like a cream

beautiful red gorgeous they look all

brown in the swatches so I'm really

confused

and then the blue is probably the most

accurate but once again it looks

brighter like really very blue and then

you have muted blue and it looks like

the the lightest blue in that palette

looks like green grey green I don't

understand and it looks like a bright

dark blue and it looks like a navy

like a navy it's very very strange their

colors are off yeah and I would not buy

these based on that because I don't know

what I'm getting

you can't take a risk on that no

kind of like Christmas tree ish this is

all right we've seen the pur cosmetics

Holiday Collection called crystal clear

so everyone's going the kind of clear

route yeah this one looks a little bit

the packaging like the lip glosses and

stuff yeah and the cases of the

lipsticks are clear yes not much more to

annoy the products that they have

released there's a crystal clear

ultimate face palette 38 US dollars so

this is a big book style like open out

three panel palettes it contains a bunch

of eyeshadows and then what looks like

also multi-purpose face products and

highlighters so three contouring powders

three blushes three highlighters this is

a good example of the proportions being

wrong you've got small like pans of

bronze are that the same size of blush

and then like double the size I live I

lettuce what are we doing highlighting

our whole house you need to highlight

your body to make that make sense

this should be the large pans bronzers

and the circle pans highlighters and

blushes yes what I have to say anyway

they're pretty basic shades you got cool

tones warm tones one popper blue one pop

up purple one pop of like shimmery gold

but pure cosmetics is pretty known for

sort of your everyday basic products or

colors then there's a crystal clear

iconic glow illuminating face and body

dry oil twenty eight US dollars I'm not

going to say crystal clear for

everything no the Jumbo highlighter and

bronzer palette 24 US dollars this is a

pan

it's got like half of it is bronzer half

of it is highlighter but it's all split

into six portions it's absolute so it's

like an ombre of different colors so

whether you just use the top or you want

to isolate different colors highlighters

or bronzers it seems like too much

effort for me then we've got it's not

really a palette is it anyway we've got

the five piece cruelty free brush

collection 38 u.s. dollars the perfect

lip kit 15 u.s. dollars in two shade

varieties nude and red and then we've

got the four piece

perfect I set 28 US dollars and the

three prep three priests three piece Pro

eyelash kit

sixteen dollars so the four piece I set

looks like it's got a mascara aligner

maybe it's a lash glue okay and false

lashes then the three piece set has two

sets of lashes and glue so there we go

and that's is like an ornament you can

skincare we've got a whole bunch of new

products so first up is the

collaboration mask with Jake Jamie this

is the toffee apple face mask there's

also these things are now not in

collaboration with Jake Jamie they're

just releases releases we've got a 15%

niacinamide serum a 0.5% retinol serum

with rosehip seed oil actually like that

move because like very hard to find a

retinol in an oil base that's my dad

yeah but they're quite gentle on the

skin base they instead of a normal base

yeah cause that sort of cushions the

yeah it likes campuses yes yeah there's

a 3% vitamin C serum at 12.5% vitamin C

serum that's a big jump that's that's a

strong one so a pretty affordable brand

yeah yeah then there's a caffeine tonic

a psycho tonic a tea tree essence spray

and a rose hip seed oil essence spray

interesting that might be good if you're

really dry if you're uncomfortably dry

you not like something like that yeah

that's true it's all available now on

revolution Beauty calm okay this was

sort of an update but well we're talking

about it now Stilo we've seen their

holiday collection it is re launched and

we're seeing some sort of concepts that

have been repeated year in year and year

out the last couple years I've had these

kind of things so kiss the stars stay

all day liquid lipstick a set is 20 US

dollars it contains three

mini liquid lipsticks didn't they

release almost this exact pack last year

probably yeah they do it all the time

yeah

then there's the highest realm glitter

and glow liquid eye shadow set 25 US

dollars it contains three mini glitter

and glory type products however we don't

have kitten karma thanks so I have heard

the feedback Kim karma doesn't need to

be in every pack every damn year

there we go forever infinite and eternal

which are you know fantastic last

attacks we've got the fourth dimension

liquid eye shadow set so this is same

thing but just a bigger set it's 49 US

dollars we've got the glitter and glow

in opal ice we've got the glitter and

glow in lilac ice the shimmer and glow

in vivid smoky quartz I have that one

and the shimmer and glow in vivid

labradorite so that one has four and

once again as you can see to a glitter

to a shimmer they do that every year but

different shades and then we have the

blue realm velvet eyeshadow palette 30

US dollars we have seen this in sneak

peeks so this is the sort of update but

it's a 6-pound eyeshadow palette it's

got like a design on the on the pan that

looks a bit like honeycomb yeah and for

shades look like shimmery shades with a

couple that are duo chrome and to mattes

it's quite cool toned an iridescent sort

of white to blue a deep sort of intense

blue Mareva colors sort of champagne

gold bigger excellent I thought that

collections pretty small I recognized me

more than more because I usually do big

sort of vaults oh yeah liquid eyeshadows

that is their whole holiday I'll eat my

char will hate machine great I reckon

there'll be more I reckon that is a

pre-release to holiday yeah two things

about strobe Cosmetics for starters

let's talk about their name change so

they've changed their name from strobe

cosmetics to shroud cosmetics now the

reason they have done that is because

she decided it was time for a reaper

so there you go see mmm I don't like

that I can understand that she said that

she launched strobe when she was 16

years old and John long ago I understand

that I can totally understand that

however I sort of feel like it's always

a bad move

yeah and we've seen brands they were

like like what was monster maker

Menagerie cosmetics and a lot of people

didn't understand what happened to

monster maker and they're like where'd

it go and like they didn't understand

the connection you lose your core

audience

any like social media that you've had

out there people were reviewing your

products yeah you don't recommend you

lose it all doesn't relate back to you

more you pretty much start your brand

from day one I hate to say it no they

don't and that's the thing if they liked

story because medics all of a sudden

they think the brand is gone yeah I

don't realize it's changed its name yeah

cause yeah people aren't as savvy as

people that analyze things like we do

it's all like the only time someone

should do this is if they've got a

really hideous name

yeah which strobe Cosmetics is just a

standard name or if they're doing so

badly that they need to rebrand we

should disconnect what they've done

previously they've had like really bad

drama or you know really bad reputation

and they want to clean the slate and

start again fresh yeah but if you're

just doing it because you want a rebrand

you could rebrand by changing your

packaging by changing the logo by

changing the vibe of what you're

creating changing the name is always a

bad move if you've got an established

brand yes especially if you've already

got like good reviews yes are out there

and even though I've never tried them I

know of strobe cosmetics I've only heard

good things

so all that good they're good vibes that

are out there going so it's it's a bad

move and I don't I always cringe when I

say brands do yeah it's basically like

starting over yeah so if you've got

anything good going on with your history

yeah you raised that completely lose it

yeah only a fraction of people will get

the

connection yeah I remember when we were

talking about Menagerie cosmetics and

the creator was talking about how she

doesn't understand why people aren't

buying her stuff and she's working

really hard and I'm like we're talking

about that to you people in the comments

were like oh is that what happens in

monster makeup I like that name better

and it's like people don't get it that

you are shooting yourself in the foot

yeah and unless you're trying to cover

bad press don't change your name it's a

bad move anyway agree some of the new

stuff looks pretty

yes we have some swatches of new shades

that are going to be in a new palette

it's the Arcana palette now this is

available for pre-order now so you can

go to the Shroud cosmetics website

I guess so and check it out so the green

and the blue are darkling and mystic so

that's the matte green and the shimmery

blue blue we're gonna get to another

green and blue yes we've got altar and

enchantress so that is sort of a warm

camel with a beautiful metallic red yeah

we've got nocturnal and relic

these are Parsi I love you it is I wear

these colors often but I was buy buy

them so you've got an isotope and a

whole taupe brown yeah and I love them

then we've got entity and chalice so

we've got a mustard and an antique gold

I love those there's alchemy and shroud

so we've got a green with a teal shift

and then a blue like yeah it's a blue

grey matte but it looks quite teal it

does don't love it I think it's so

pretty then we have família and sacred

so we've got a like rosy metallic Brown

yep and red matte yeah I actually would

like these as jurors so would I like I

like it as a palette by his like little

jurors would be really gorgeous if you

just swapped the dark green with the

metallic yes you've got a green and a

blue and a green and blue yes but

blues together in the greens together

and the Reds together I realize I'll

just nice color story like I don't wear

greens and blues so I know that's gonna

be a bit of a waste for me unfortunately

but the rest of it is really pretty yeah

they should have quads of jurors so it's

a bit more palatable yeah I would love

the mustard and the gold I would love

the gray and the target they were

selling the red in the red i buy all of

them except the blues and the Greens

that's fair not because I don't think

they're pretty shades just because I

don't wear them enough to justify it I

probably still use it somehow and then

look like I've been punched in the face

I look like a corpse

yeah corpse corpse corpse all right last

news we've got Shan xro has been hinting

at an eyeshadow palette coming from exo

Beauty now she has been talking about

formulating eyeshadows for over a year

now I believe so this is sort of old

news but we've seen sort of sneak peeks

that there's gonna be at least a

shimmery purple some nice nice purpley

mattes it's just a little look at what's

going to be coming out now talking about

people requesting things a lot

we often get people saying you never

talk about like extra Beauty we're

talking about releases it just happens

like once a year once every eight months

so it's not going hot then we screw up

our time so we do we're onto it we are

we always talk about Shannon's but

there's no point ray talking about it

every month just to keep it relevant no

we only talk about new news it's true
