Are you concerned about what you eat and whether or not you’re getting the nutrients your body needs? Well, a team of researchers at chalmers University of Technology has developed a new tool that can help you measure the nutrients in your food and track your intake.
The new nutrition technology, called NutriSense, uses sensors to measure the nutrients in your food and then provides you with a report of your intake. The report can be used to help you make better choices about what you eat and to ensure that you’re getting the nutrients your body needs.
The NutriSense technology was developed by a team of researchers led by chalmers professor Lars-Göran Bengtsson. The team has been working on the technology for several years and has now created a prototype that they say is ready for commercialization.
The NutriSense technology works by using sensors to measure the nutrients in your food. The sensors are placed in your food and then the information is sent to a report that you can access on your computer or mobile device.
The report will show you the nutrients in your food and how much of each nutrient you’re consuming. It will also show you how your nutrient intake compares to the recommended daily intake for each nutrient.
The report can be used to help you make better choices about what you eat. For example, if you see that you’re not getting enough of a certain nutrient, you can make an effort to eat more foods that are rich in that nutrient.
The NutriSense technology can also be used to track your nutrient intake over time. This information can be used to identify trends in your nutrient intake and to make sure that you’re getting the nutrients your body needs.
The NutriSense technology is currently being tested by a group of volunteers. The team is also working on a version of the technology that can be used by people with allergies or other dietary restrictions.
If you’re interested in trying out the NutriSense technology, you can sign up for a free trial at the chalmers website.

if you look at the relationship between
diet and health first you had to ask for
what they say each and then we do
statistical relationships between eating
habits and certain diseases the problem
is then that they don't remember always
or you don't remember what did you eat
yesterday for example diet is very
complex and it contains thousands of
different food items and it's very
difficult with a questionnaire with a
few number of questions to capture that
diet and complexity of other diet
statistical associations between food
intake and a certain type of disease
that is not evidence of course it's only
associations there are new techniques to
measure objectively what people have
been eating we are using metabolomics
which is the technique where we analyze
thousands of molecules in a blood sample
or a urine sample so we can use we can
find out what molecules are coming from
specific foods and see in a blood sample
how much carrots a person have been
eating or how much whole grain rye
products a person have been eating in an
objective way we can get scientifically
based Dietary Guidelines and that is
very important also for the people to
trust the dietary guidelines

if we will do a really science-fiction
imagination of how it could look like I
would assume that perhaps we could have
a device that we could couple to our
mobile phone taking a small blood sample
and then we can get this snapshot of our
spaces in the body and and we could have
that linked to what kind of foods
specifically we would need yes today
unfortunately the answer that often
comes from researchers is that depends
but what we try to do is to take away
some of it it depends and say well
actually we know this about you and
there's a specific information about you
and problem that we can then start
saying well actually based on what we
know about your place on the metabolites
in your blood we think this kind of diet
is going to be best for you to protect
you against future disease or to have
the best home
