The Institute for Physical Education and sport was established with the aim of providing Certificate, Diploma, Degree Courses and professional development courses in Physical Education and sport and to carry out research in the same area.

are widely known.
And this is the role of the Institute for Physical Education & Sport.
To develop a more qualified sport workforce.
Since I was in Primary school,
I practised a lot of sport
and Physical Education was my favourite subject.
Since then, my dream was always to work in this sector.
Our courses range from, the fundamentals of coaching,
sports management,
an undergraduate degree in Sport & Physical Activity.
We are also offering an M.Sc. in Sport & Physical Education.
We study different aspects and effects of sport and exercise.
Not just the physical benefits,
but also mental and social parts.
Psychology, Physiology, Nutrition, Sociology in Sports.
Inclusion and Diversity.
We also learn how to share our knowledge
with people of different ages,
ranging from children to senior citizens.
The best part of the course was the Teaching Practice.
I believe that the actual practice of something can improve,
and will improve someone.
And I've experienced this as a tutor
with the current students at University.
Apart from the coaching aspect,
it also helped me in the management point of view.
It thought me how to deal with budgets and thinking ahead, planning ahead.
We are a small group of students,
and so we have bonded together very closely,
which has helped us strive to improve our studies.
